Dr. Fugaro's mission is to see you
and your family smile.

We are committed to provide you with the best dental care, therefore we understand the importance of serving our community. During the year we support and help different causes to help our community become closer and healthier.

FEBRUARY
February is Children Dental Health Month. Therefore, for the last 5 years, we have visited different preschools and elementary schools on our Island to provide more information to our children about dental health. We have opened our doors to do "dental tours" at our office to help reduce the anxiety that some children have visiting the dentist. We have donated hundreds of toothbrushes, toothpaste and other home care items to children in our community to promote dental health.

APRIL
April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month. Therefore, for the last 2 years, we have opened our doors to make oral cancer examinations with our Velscope device. Dr. Fugaro is a member of the Oral Cancer Foundation and is aware of the high incidence of Oral Cancer, thus he donates his own time during the month of April to screen patients at no cost.

MAY TO AUGUST
Dr. Fugaro is involved in supporting different causes in our community, such as the St. Cecilia's Auction, Wings Auction, Sport Events, St. Cecilia's Youth Group, Pennies to Haiti to mention a few.

SEPTEMBER TO JANUARY
Dr. Fugaro provides customized sport guards to Island Athletic Teams. As a member of the Academy For Sports Dentistry, he is aware of the importance of playing safe on any sporting field.

TESTIMONIALS

A common question asked of children is “What do want to be when you grow up? “ On a recent tour of Eagle Harbor Dental my kindergarten class was all smiles as they were greeted warmly by Dr. Fugaro. From watching a neat video, entering a dark room and especially sitting in a dental chair, my students were anxious to brush and floss. They learned the best way to produce a smile is to take care of your teeth everyday! Thank you, Dr. Fugaro for your fun filled informative tour! Here’s to future dentists!       Mrs. Mathisen SCCS  August 2011
